Chase Glenn Named CEO Of New Beginnings/Opelousas 

“Our purpose is helping teens and their families overcome the impact of addiction on their lives,” comments Chase Glenn, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of New Beginnings Adolescent Recovery Center in Opelousas, Louisiana. Glenn has assumed the leadership role following the announcement of his appointment by New Beginnings President and Managing Partner, Johnny Patout, LCSW. Patout, a national leader in innovative treatment programs for addiction to drugs and alcohol, commented on Glenn’s appointment, “We are most fortunate to have someone of Chase’s caliber assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer with New Beginnings.  As national director of business development  for our organization, Chase has proven himself to be a strong leader in working with organizations and referral individuals across the country.  That experience and his strong background in the field of addiction recovery will only enhance our already strong program here in Opelousas.”

A native of El Reno Oklahoma, Glenn grew up in the equestrian industry and studied Equine Business Management from  West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas. Following his education, he began a career in the equestrian industry but in 2006, following his treatment for alcohol addiction, he refocused his career to helping parents find treatment for their own children’s addiction.  Part of his career experience was in the field of Wilderness Therapy where he used the outdoor experience to help teens with their addiction issues. During his career, Glenn also served in the service capacity as a volunteer firefighter and an EMT in Washington State. He joined New Beginnings in 2014 in the capacity of Director of Business Development.  He is a member of numerous substance organizations and national equestrian organizations and has served on charter high school boards of directors in Washington State which allowed him to continue working with youth and addiction. Glenn is married to his wife Laree and the couple have two children.  After having traveled across the nation on behalf of New Beginnings since joining the organization in 2014, Glenn and his family will make South Louisiana their home.

New Beginnings is a 60 day, award winning residential facility for teenagers who have substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders. The 22 acre New Beginnings campus located in Opelousas, Louisiana, has 24/7 nurses, psychiatrists, and master level therapists along with an on-campus ropes course, art therapies, music therapy, and many recreational activities. New Beginnings is nationally recognized for it’s innovative and effective programing and is a member of the NAATP National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and the NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs). The program is CARF accredited.
