Our History

New Beginnings was formed as an adolescent recovery center, treating male and female teenagers who were experiencing addition to alcohol or other drugs.   In 2011, the center became a member of the Seaside Healthcare family of programs in Louisiana and expanded its reach to serve families from across the United States.   

Over the years, the New Beginnings approach to treatment has helped thousands regain their lives.   For its work in treating addiction, New Beginnings has been frequently recognized across the nation for the quality and innovativeness of its work.

As the program grew, so did the New Beginnings campus which currently houses six living facilities in addition to the campus cafeteria, recreational areas, meeting rooms, counseling offices, nurses station and administrative buildings, all set on a wooded rural setting near Opelousas and Lafayette Louisiana.



MISSION STATEMENT:

New Beginnings Adolescent Recovery Center will provide substance abuse services that are quality driven at all times, striving to provide these services in a manner that exceeds the expectations of our patients, their families, regulatory compliance agencies and all those who recommend our facility to others.
