Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship that helps men and women share their experiences, strength and hope with one another to help solve their shared problem of alcoholism.

The Department of Health and Hospitals protects the health of Louisiana citizens by ensuring access to medical, preventative and rehabilitative services.

Narcotics Anonymous is a global, community-based organization that offers a 12-step recovery program for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI provides access to services such as treatment, awareness, support and research to those who are in need of recovery.

The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers seeks to develop alliances with other healthcare organizations to protect the integrity of addiction treatment. NAATP represents 275 providers and acts as the voice of private alcoholism and drug dependency treatment programs across the U.S.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration was established to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness in America.

Q: How do I get to New Beginnings from each airport?
From Lafayette Regional:
Exit the terminal entrance onto Terminal Drive and turn left onto Blue Blvd to exit the airport grounds. Turn left onto Surrey Street and stay in the right lane; continue on to US Hwy 90 and turn right (Hwy 90 is a three lane road named SE Evangeline Thruway for the section of Hwy 90 within Lafayette).

Continue on the Evangeline Thruway northbound for approximately 4.5 miles, remaining in the center lane at all times. (Note: The Thruway becomes US 167 mid-way in your travels; Remain on the Thruway as you head northbound.) The Thruway will cross under Interstate 10 and become I-49. Head north on I-49 for approximately 16 miles, taking exit 17 for Judson Walsh Drive. Turn right onto Judson Walsh Drive, then turn left onto I-49 Frontage Road and continue for approximately half a mile. Take a right at Linwood Loop (Parish Road 1-310) and continue for less than 1/8 mile; New Beginnings will be on the left. Enter at our sign and go to the main office building on your left.

From Baton Rouge Regional:
Leave the airport parking area, turn left onto Veterans Memorial Blvd and head south approximately one mile. Turn right onto Harding Blvd and immediately take loop onto ramp for I-110 heading south to Baton Rouge. Continue on I-110 for approximately half of a mile, then take exit 5B and merge onto US 190 West (Airline Highway). On US 190 West, head west out of Baton Rouge, continuing for 56 miles to Opelousas, Louisiana. Turn left onto I-49 Frontage Road before you go under I-49 and head south for approximately one mile, crossing Cresswell Lane and continuing one mile on the Frontage Road. Turn left onto Linwood Loop (Parish Road 1-310) and continue for less than 1/8 mile; New Beginnings will be on the left. Enter at our sign and go to the main office building on your left.

Alternate Rouge from Baton Rouge:
Leave the airport parking area, turn left onto Veterans Memorial Blvd and head south approximately one mile. Turn right onto Harding Blvd and immediately take loop onto ramp for I-110 heading south to Baton Rouge. Continue on I-110 for approximately 4 miles and exit onto Interstate 10 West for Lafayette. Cross the Mississippi River and continue on I-10 for approximately 50 miles, heading west to Lafayette.

At Lafayette, take Exit 103B to merge onto I-49 North. Continue northbound on I-49 for approximately 16 miles, taking exit 17 for Judson Walsh Drive. Turn right onto Judson Walsh Drive, then turn left onto I-49 Frontage Road and continue for approximately half a mile. Take a right at Linwood Loop (parish road 1-310) and continue for less than 1/8 mile; New Beginnings will be on the left. Enter at our sign and go to the main office building on your left.
